The ability to initiate and sustain meaningful change is critical as a leader.  In this course I learned concepts of organizational change, health and transformation and was able to apply these concepts as a guide to practice methods of organizational diagnosis and intervention.  I was able to analyze models for leading change and apply basic Lewinian concepts to change.  I developed strategies for systemic alignment with stakeholders and created a human centric action plan.

I am especially interested in the change and transformational aspect of leadership given my deep desire to empower organizations to be agents of positive social change through storytelling and understanding the inner workings of (and resistance to) change was crucial to the work I aim to do.

I am including my paper “Action Plan:  Integration of Coaching into Alpenglow Mental Wellness, LLC” as it helped deepen my understanding of my own company and the structure of it when applying a change.
