This experiential class was a great introduction into the ORGL program. I was able to establish relationships that supported my success throughout the program and I can see how these relationships will foster my growth beyond graduation. I learned key concepts related to creativity and expanded my creative and imaginative capacity. Creativity is a central ingredient to my recipe of leadership and influence and I was thrilled to learn more about it theoretically. The introduction to Ignatian imagination and perspectives from the liberal arts allowed me to develop and enhance my own creativity and imagination in the context of leadership practice. I enjoyed the on campus and integrative nature of this course while fostering relationships.
I chose to include the Fireside4 concept which came out of this course. Although this was a nascent concept and ultimately not where I am choosing to focus my time with coaching and consulting, I learned a great deal in the process. Additionally, Fireside4 does share several creative conceptual pillars with Fireside Change and I believe it to be an integral origin point in the evolution of where I desire to focus my skills and training within organizational leadership.
