The purpose of this course was to have a deeper understanding regarding the complexities of organizations and be exposed to theories of organization, important organizational issues and processes and a variety of strategies and tactics useful in successful organizational leaders and followers alike.  I was able to better understand how to plan, establish and maintain an organizational structure and the importance of organizational strategy.  I was able to increase my capacity to build a network of effective relationships exploring the nuances of working with varied demographic backgrounds and the advantages and disadvantages of different communication and inclusive strategies.  I was able to better understand the leader’s role in designing and leading effective teams by understanding the multiple factors that shape the design, dynamics and effectiveness of groups.  I was able to develop the knowledge and skills related to understanding and reinvigorating and changing organizational culture.  I was able to develop an understanding of and capacity to use systems dynamics.  I was able to develop an understanding of a capacity to use systems dynamics.

This course is still in progress this spring and I will include an artifact once completed.
